XBOW is building an AI-powered offensive security platform that autonomously discovers, validates, and exploits vulnerabilities to help organizations identify and remediate security weaknesses before attackers can exploit them.
You will own commercial legal work across the company, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Security teams. This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially minded lawyer who can structure agreements, close deals, and provide clear, practical legal advice as the business scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead commercial negotiations: Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, SaaS and software licenses, proof-of-concept agreements, partnership and reseller arrangements, procurement contracts, and data processing agreements.
- Partner with the business: Work with Sales and Finance on deal structure, negotiation strategy, and escalations to support revenue growth while managing risk.
- Advise on AI-related commercial issues: Address data use, model training restrictions, intellectual property ownership, confidentiality, warranties, liability, and third-party AI provider terms.
- Support product development and launches: Help Product, Engineering, and Security teams assess legal considerations for new capabilities and translate them into appropriate customer terms.
- Address offensive security specifics: Define contractual testing permissions, scope, acceptable use, and handling of vulnerability findings and sensitive customer information.
- Build scalable processes: Develop templates, negotiation playbooks, approval workflows, and guidance to improve contract turnaround and consistency.
- Make legal advice accessible: Deliver practical training and help colleagues understand when they can move independently versus when to involve Legal.
- Support broader legal priorities: Identify emerging issues, coordinate specialist external advice, and contribute to projects as the business evolves.
The company offers competitive salary, generous equity, career growth opportunities to shape and lead the legal function, and meaningful work alongside security experts and AI researchers. The role is fully remote with UK-based team members; regular in-person collaboration is supported.
