Salary: EUR 36,100 - 45,100 / annual

Planet is seeking a Contracts Manager to join its in-house legal team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office, reporting directly to the Head of Legal, EMEA, and working as part of the EMEA Legal team based in Germany and Slovenia. Planet designs, builds, and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites in history, delivering empirical data via a cloud-based platform to commercial, environmental, and humanitarian sectors. The company controls every component of hardware design, manufacturing, data processing, and software engineering. In this role, you will: - Review, negotiate, and process vendor and supplier agreements using established company playbooks, templates, and approval guidelines - Draft non-standard agreements with customers according to negotiation guidelines under the direction of legal counsel - Identify and communicate negotiation matters requiring escalation to legal counsel - Conduct legal research and draft memos on discrete projects - Support maintenance and improvement of legal processes, forms, systems, and operations, including contract management systems - Administer matters in Planet's contract management systems - Provide support to the EMEA Legal and Proposal Team with administrative matters and documentation management - Manage communications with various stakeholders globally Requirements: - 4+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal, contracts manager, or similar role - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Experience working internationally - Professional working proficiency in English - Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites - High level of reliability and solid organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver timely, high-quality results - Ability to balance attention to detail with pragmatic problem solving - Ability to learn and follow standardized processes and procedures - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels - Flexibility to engage with stakeholders in different time zones - Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to tailor communication to target audience Desirable qualifications: - Proficiency in contract management software and legal operations - Experience working at a publicly listed company, with government customers, or in the space or defense sector - Professional working proficiency in German or other languages Note: This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and is contingent upon the candidate's ability to access such information without additional export licensing.
