Salary: USD 192,000 - 288,000 / annual
Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Technical Programs to lead the long-term health, strategy, and evolution of a critical core technology platform supporting a key customer vertical.
In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to define multi-year technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring platform evolution aligns with long-term business goals. You'll prioritize and program-manage strategic, non-functional initiatives such as technical debt reduction, capacity planning, and architecture scaling, while overseeing the full lifecycle of platform features from technical design through implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining multi-year technical strategy and roadmap in partnership with Engineering and Product
- Managing strategic programs focused on technical debt, capacity planning, and architecture scaling
- Overseeing platform feature lifecycle from design to implementation
- Establishing predictable development and release processes with high quality and scalability standards
- Creating frameworks for cross-team collaboration and defining clear ways of working
- Serving as primary communication leader to secure buy-in across engineering and business leadership
- Driving operational excellence through process automation and challenging existing workflows
You bring 10+ years of technical program management experience in fast-paced engineering environments, ideally in SaaS or high-growth tech. You have proven success managing perpetual programs with rolling roadmaps, demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities across complex cross-functional initiatives, and strong proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Linear, Smartsheet). You're comfortable working with ambiguity during capability building and excel at translating technical complexity for diverse stakeholder audiences.
