In this Senior Java Software Engineer role, you will build high-performance services and products on top of real-time sports data collected 24/7 globally across 30+ sports. You'll have a real opportunity to influence design and technology decisions, become a domain expert in real-time sports data systems, and use ATDD/BDD techniques in daily work with Github and GitLab CI.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java expertise
- Ability to design and deliver distributed systems in production and understand operational requirements
- Ownership of complex initiatives independently, from architecture decisions to post-incident reviews
- Natural mentoring ability and technical review skills that are direct, constructive, and useful
- Deep understanding of testing strategy, CI/CD, and engineering excellence in practice
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and microservices at scale (strong advantage)
- Engineering leadership skills where people see you as a role model
