Salary: USD 130,000 - 172,000 / annual
Flexport is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support its SaaS-based collaboration and endpoint management platforms. You will be responsible for the configuration, integration, administration, and support of Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Confluence, Jira, Okta, Jamf, and Intune. This is a critical role ensuring these platforms are secure, scalable, and optimized for the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering and providing escalation support for SaaS platforms
- Implementing and maintaining policies, software deployment, patching, and security compliance for Mac and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Intune
- Owning the lifecycle management across core collaboration and endpoint management platforms
- Developing automation scripts and workflows to improve administrative efficiency and user experience (Python, PowerShell, Okta Workflows)
- Monitoring system health, performance, and usage; proactively resolving or escalating issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Security, Engineering, HR, Legal) to ensure proper alignment and integration of SaaS tools
- Performing investigations and discovery across systems for Legal and HR
- Assisting in vendor management and product evaluations
- Driving solutions and project work
- Onboarding new applications for single sign-on
- Developing and maintaining technical operating procedures, policies, and engineering roadmaps
- Working closely with the Security team to ensure platforms are designed with security best practices
- Providing Tier 3 IT support
You will have broad knowledge across IT, in-depth hands-on working knowledge, and a strong security mindset. Your expertise will be critical in automating workflows, protecting sensitive systems and data, mitigating security risks, and maintaining compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or comparable experience)
- 3+ years of experience supporting SaaS collaboration tools and Mac/Windows endpoint management
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- In-depth knowledge of email delivery flow, IT security, and IAM concepts
- Understanding of RBAC and permissions models across core SaaS applications
- Scripting and automation experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
