Dicey is a crypto-native online casino operated by a fully distributed team. This Senior IT Engineer role owns the entire IT environment end-to-end, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Security.
Key responsibilities include:
**Identity & Access Management**: Full ownership of Okta as the identity provider, including SAML/OIDC app federation, SCIM provisioning, push groups, Okta Workflows, and lifecycle management integrated with the HRIS system.
**Google Workspace Administration**: Multi-domain/multi-entity administration at super-admin level, covering organizational units, aliases, groups, routing rules, license automation, billing reconciliation, and email delivery troubleshooting.
**Device Management**: Run a primarily macOS fleet using Apple Business Manager with zero-touch enrollment, MDM blueprints, OS version control, push certificate renewals, EDR, and Cloudflare Zero Trust device verification.
**Automation & Infrastructure**: Maintain and extend the automation stack, including a TypeScript Cloudflare Worker for non-SCIM app provisioning, Okta Workflows, config-as-code group syncs, and low-code automations using LLM coding tools like Claude Code.
**Support Operations**: Keep AI-powered Tier-1 support effective by maintaining SOP libraries and ticket records that feed the automation pipeline. Goal is to keep self-service support growing and reduce manual Tier-2 work.
**Hardware Logistics**: Manage procurement, deployment, and returns for a distributed global team through warehouse vendors and direct international shipping, including customs documentation and asset tracking via API-synced inventory.
**Collaboration & SaaS**: Administer Slack, Notion enterprise (including SCIM and legal holds), and manage SaaS spend through license audits and build-versus-buy decisions.
The role is not helpdesk-focused; onboarding is ~90% automated, and offboarding largely self-service. You inherit a well-built machine and push more manual work into automation. Comfort with reading, modifying, and shipping TypeScript code using LLM tools is essential. You'll work independently, prioritize your own queue, and measure time allocation to identify automation opportunities.
