Amplitude is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own and evolve the company's IT automation, identity management, and endpoint infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing and delivering production-grade solutions across critical IT domains.
Key responsibilities include:
**IT Automation & Workflow Engineering**: Design and implement reliable, scalable automations using Okta Workflows as the primary engine, covering employee onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, SaaS license management, and compliance workflows. You will architect maintainable solutions with strong documentation standards.
**Identity & Access Management**: Own Okta's full configuration surface including SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, group rules, adaptive MFA, and RBAC lifecycle automation. You will debug the federation layer (attribute mapping, JIT provisioning, SCIM reconciliation) and maintain production-grade configurations.
**SAML, OIDC & Federation Engineering**: Design and troubleshoot complex SAML 2.0 and OIDC integrations across enterprise SaaS applications. Deep expertise in SP/IdP configuration, attribute statements, assertion mapping, token claims, and PKCE flows required.
**Endpoint & Device Management**: Administer macOS fleet at scale via Kandji, including zero-touch provisioning, Blueprint configuration, software deployment, and security policy enforcement. Maintain fleet compliance and diagnose complex endpoint issues independently.
**Employee Lifecycle Operations**: Own the complete onboarding and offboarding lifecycle across Okta, Google Workspace, Kandji, and the broader SaaS stack. Design automated workflows ensuring consistent, timely provisioning and deprovisioning. Build controls and audit trails that close compliance gaps.
**Google Workspace Administration**: Manage directory configuration, group management, Drive/sharing policies, DLP settings, and audit log triage. Maintain clean provisioning integration between Workspace and Okta.
**IT Compliance & Access Reviews**: Support SOC 2 evidence collection and access review workflows. Build automated pipelines that surface access anomalies, generate reviewer-ready reports, and track remediation.
**SaaS Governance**: Manage the corporate SaaS stack lifecycle, vendor onboarding, license optimization, app security reviews, and offboarding automation. Maintain documentation and operational playbooks.
**AI-Assisted IT Operations**: Champion AI adoption within IT, identify automation opportunities, evaluate AI-native tooling, and build agentic workflows. Use LLMs to accelerate work and create operational leverage.
