Branch is a mission-driven insurance company modernizing personal lines P&C insurance through data, technology, and automation. As Senior Insurance Contract & QA Analyst, you'll own the full lifecycle of insurance forms, endorsements, and contracts across multiple states and lines of business, reporting to the Director of Underwriting, Contract & QA. You'll design and maintain personal lines contracts and endorsements, complete regulatory filings, and serve as the resident expert on contract terms for our product lines. You'll conduct quality assurance testing to confirm that system output matches what was filed with state departments of insurance, including testing rating and pricing changes as the company expands into new states and lines. You'll build and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect tracking, and continue automating QA work in partnership with the analytics team. Key responsibilities include reviewing competitor offerings and market needs to inform forms development, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, and Technology teams on changes that span contract, rating, and systems, and writing clear documentation for downstream teams. You'll manage multiple states and workstreams in parallel, balancing competing priorities throughout the year. You'll need 5+ years of personal lines P&C insurance experience, ideally in contract and forms development or claims work involving policy language. You must be able to read contracts closely, interpret policy language precisely, and identify discrepancies between filed documents and system output. Experience with state regulatory environments, QA methodology (test planning, UAT, regression testing), and insurance systems is essential. You should have a track record of automation and continuous improvement, strong written communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail under pressure. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Branch is remote-first with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and additional office space in Missouri and Illinois. The company is expanding rapidly, creating significant contract work and a year of substantial pricing changes requiring extensive testing.
