Degreed is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead complex enterprise implementations of its learning experience platform. This role sits within the Professional Services team and offers significant autonomy, with a clear trajectory toward Principal or Team Lead positions.
You will serve as a delivery lead and trusted advisor for multi-stakeholder engagements, translating business objectives into effective platform solutions. Your responsibilities span end-to-end implementation leadership, including platform configuration, discovery workshop facilitation, and integration strategy partnership with technical teams. You will own project plans, RAID logs, and executive status reporting for sophisticated, multi-stream deployments.
Key responsibilities include: leading enterprise customer implementations with ownership of Degreed platform configuration; facilitating discovery workshops to define learning strategy, AI use cases, and measurable outcomes; partnering with Technical Consultants on integration strategy (SSO, HRIS feeds, content integrations); monitoring implementation health and managing escalations with minimal oversight; managing scope and change requests across technical, functional, and business stakeholders; identifying opportunities for expanded services and additional platform adoption; and running project retrospectives to drive continuous delivery improvement.
You will also contribute beyond your direct portfolio by spearheading internal initiatives, mentoring Implementation Consultants, and expanding the team's delivery capabilities. This includes developing AI practice methodologies, creating reusable implementation assets, and contributing to thought leadership on learning strategy and AI-enabled workforce transformation.
Required expertise: strong track record steering complex enterprise SaaS implementations in professional services; demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and own multiple concurrent workstreams; proven expertise directing multi-stream software deployments across business, functional, and technical groups; fluency in translating platform capability into business strategy for VP- and C-level audiences; working knowledge of LMS, LXP, content providers, skills platforms, and HRIS system integration; understanding of AI use case design and measurable success criteria within enterprise governance; proficiency in risk and scope management; skilled workshop facilitation; and proven ability to integrate AI tools into daily work routines.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience implementing Degreed or similar learning experience platforms, background in L&D strategy or organizational change management, familiarity with HR technology ecosystems, experience in North American and Latin American markets, multilingual proficiency, and PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certification.
