Built is an AI-powered platform transforming real estate finance and construction. The company connects lenders (including top U.S. banks), developers, owners, and contractors, powering 86,000 active projects valued at over $300 billion. Built's platform addresses complex challenges in construction draw management, compliance tracking, and loan administration.
As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will own Built's most complex and strategic implementation relationships, setting the standard for delivery excellence. You work independently with periodic guidance, serve as the go-to resource for the hardest implementation challenges, and informally mentor peers through the expertise and standards you demonstrate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the largest and most complex client implementations independently, driving success across technical, organizational, and commercial dimensions from kickoff through stabilization.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on organizational change, training strategy, and platform adoption; guide clients through transformational implementations with authority and care.
- Design and implement standardized methodologies, templates, and playbooks that improve delivery speed and consistency across all implementations.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams with Product, Engineering, and Solutions Consulting to solve novel implementation challenges and expand Built's service capabilities.
- Serve as an escalation point for high-risk or high-impact projects—diagnosing root causes, driving resolution, and ensuring client relationships remain intact.
- Identify and own key performance metrics for implementation health; use data to drive decisions that optimize efficiency and client satisfaction across the portfolio.
- Informally mentor implementation managers—share expertise, provide guidance on complex client situations, and help raise the standard for delivery across the team.
- Champion AI and tooling adoption within the implementations function; model how technology accelerates delivery quality and client outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and speed of work; identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort through automation.
Success at six months means your implementations are consistently recognized as the most successful in the portfolio, with clients achieving adoption outcomes faster and rare escalations. At least one playbook or methodology you developed has been adopted broadly across the function with measurable improvements. Escalations are resolved cleanly with preserved client relationships. Implementation managers seek your input on complex situations before escalation, and cross-functional partners view you as a strategic thought partner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–7 years of experience in SaaS implementation, professional services, or enterprise project delivery, with demonstrated ownership of the most complex client engagements in your portfolio.
- Deep expertise in enterprise implementation strategy, change management, and organizational transformation—you've guided clients through hard changes and made them stick.
- Strong track record of designing processes or frameworks that measurably improved delivery speed, consistency, or client satisfaction across a team.
- Ability to influence senior client stakeholders and navigate complex, politically sensitive organizational dynamics with confidence and professionalism.
- Deep familiarity with construction finance and lending workflows—draw management, lien waivers, compliance tracking, loan administration, regulatory requirements—and ability to credibly advise clients on how Built fits their business.
- Experience with enterprise software implementation methodologies and comfort adapting your approach to the complexity and culture of each client environment.
- Subject matter expert orientation—you share what you know, hold high standards, and leave the function's methodology better than you found it.
