Wildlife Studios, a leading mobile game developer and publisher, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders and build people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth.
In this strategic, hands-on role, you will act as a trusted advisor across the business, coaching managers through complex people situations and driving HR initiatives end-to-end. You'll work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, People Operations, and Payroll teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnership & People Strategy:
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders, including senior and executive stakeholders, to understand team dynamics and co-create people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent development, performance management, organizational design, and team effectiveness.
- Lead HR initiatives from problem framing through implementation, collaborating across HR functions.
- Coach and influence leaders, including those without direct reporting relationships, to adopt new practices and navigate difficult people situations.
- Champion adaptability and resilience, helping the organization navigate change, restructuring, and rapid growth.
Data & People Insights:
- Use HR data and metrics (attrition, engagement, performance, headcount) to identify trends and inform workforce decisions.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide leadership with clear visibility into people trends.
- Translate data into clear narratives and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively flag workforce risks by identifying patterns early.
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Experience as an HR generalist or HRBP with solid exposure to at least three of: talent development, performance management, organizational design, culture, compensation, people operations, or talent acquisition.
- Proven senior stakeholder management with a track record of building credibility with and influencing executives, founders, or leaders without formal authority, including in difficult relationships.
- Data-driven mindset: comfortable using HR metrics and reporting (Excel required; SQL, Tableau, or Power BI a plus).
- Structured, direct, and transparent communication style; ability to synthesize complex situations into clear recommendations for senior audiences.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese (mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to structure and execute initiatives from scratch (0-to-1) and see them through to completion, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth, or frequently-changing environments.
- Resilience and sound judgment under ambiguity; ability to pick battles wisely, stay composed with difficult stakeholders, and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience as an HRBP in a scale-up, tech, or startup environment.
- Exposure to multi-country or cross-border HR practices (labor law, compensation, or performance processes).
- Genuine enthusiasm for the gaming industry.
