Oyster is a global employment platform that enables companies to hire, pay, and manage talent anywhere in the world. The company is distributed across 60+ countries and has been recognized as a top WorkTech company by TIME and Statista, a Great Startup Workplace by Newsweek, and a G2 Leader in multiple categories. Oyster is also the only B Corp-certified global employment platform. As a Senior GTM Engineer, you will be the technical operator behind Oyster's revenue engine, sitting within Revenue Operations and working alongside GTM teams. Your core mission is to build, connect, and automate the software systems that drive pipeline generation—turning high-level commercial strategy into reliable, hands-off workflows. You will design the architecture of the GTM stack, including CRM objects and fields, lifecycle stages, territory and routing logic, and sync patterns between systems. You'll integrate systems end-to-end across Salesforce, enrichment providers (Clay, Zoominfo), outbound and sequencing platforms (Nooks, Salesloft), marketing automation (HubSpot), the data warehouse, and Oyster's product APIs. A significant part of your work will involve shipping AI-driven GTM workflows—prompt chains, agents, and signal-detection pipelines that automate prospect research, personalized outreach, and real-time buying-signal alerts. You will optimize commercial processes by not only installing technology and AI but also taking ownership of how the company generates revenue. You'll build automated data pipelines that pull, clean, deduplicate, and route prospect and account data into the CRM so reps work from trustworthy information. You'll work within a live system, reverse-engineering existing processes, identifying what to keep versus replace, and landing changes through migration plans that preserve pipeline and reporting integrity. Instrumentation and observability are critical: you'll define the metrics each workflow should move, measure results, and evaluate output quality to keep automations trustworthy at scale. You'll maintain the stack for reliability and compliance—sensible data handling, monitoring and alerting, documented workflows, and no single points of failure. Finally, you'll partner with GTM teams to translate commercial goals into technical solutions and provide honest assessment of which ideas are worth building. Oyster operates asynchronously across a distributed global team with a strong culture of trust and collaboration. The company offers 40 days of paid time off per year, mental health support, a wellbeing allowance, flexible parental leave, and a work-from-home stipend. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in GTM engineering, Revenue Operations, growth engineering, or marketing/sales engineering roles, or a software engineering background deliberately applied to revenue problems - Clear, proven examples of solutions you've implemented that drove measurable pipeline impact; specifics matter more than scale - Deep, hands-on knowledge of the modern GTM stack: you've architected a CRM (not just administered one), configuring objects, fields, lifecycle stages, routing and territory logic, and sync patterns across multiple systems; experience with Salesforce or HubSpot, enrichment providers, outbound and sequencing tools, marketing automation, and platforms such as Clay - Ability to build custom integrations and wire up unfamiliar tools from documentation alone - Experience owning production workflows: error handling, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and alerting - Working experience using AI/LLMs in GTM or automation contexts—prompt and context engineering, with strong judgment about where models beat rules and where they don't - Commercial instinct: understanding of funnel mechanics, conversion rates, and unit economics to identify which automations are worth building - Bias toward shipping: you prototype quickly, put things in front of real users, and iterate rather than designing in the abstract
