You will join a team modernizing how software is designed, built, tested, and operated by combining strong engineering fundamentals with AI-native development practices. This role focuses on building customer-facing SaaS applications, solving complex engineering problems, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and delivery.
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will own complex features across backend services and frontend experiences—from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. Your responsibilities include:
• Deliver full-stack capabilities: Design and build Java/Spring services and React/TypeScript interfaces that solve customer problems.
• Build reliable backend systems: Develop APIs, integrations, data models, and distributed or event-driven workflows for cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Create maintainable frontend experiences: Build responsive interfaces with thoughtful component design, state management, accessibility, and performance.
• Own features through production: Take responsibility for technical design, implementation, automated testing, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.
• Apply AI throughout development: Use coding agents (such as Claude Code) for codebase exploration, solution planning, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and refactoring. Validate generated changes through review, testing, and engineering judgment.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor engineers through code reviews and technical collaboration.
• Incrementally modernize existing systems.
You will be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools throughout the development lifecycle while taking responsibility for the correctness, security, and maintainability of the result.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, React, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building and operating cloud-based applications.
• Strong understanding of full-stack development across backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Experience with automated testing, observability, reliability, and production operations.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL systems.
• Comfort with modern development practices: version control, CI/CD, code review, and agile workflows.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Apache Stripes, JSP, Servlets, or other established Java web technologies; deeper experience with Claude Code or equivalent agentic development tools including repeatable workflows for planning, implementation, testing, and review.
