Zinc is expanding its engineering team and seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to play a central role in shaping the technical direction of the platform. You'll work closely with Product, Design, and customers to understand problems deeply, translate them into elegant technical solutions, and influence both what the company builds and how it builds for long-term success.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering high-impact, scalable features that delight thousands of customers; working cross-functionally to define product direction and technical approach; maintaining, optimizing, and securing systems at scale; leading the charge on complex technical challenges; mentoring and guiding other engineers to raise the technical bar; staying current with tools, trends, and best practices; and owning work end-to-end from idea through production.
You'll be expected to demonstrate advanced full-stack capabilities, system design thinking, and a product-minded approach. The role emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and building a positive team culture alongside technical excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced proficiency with Node.js (Express/Nest.js) and modern frontend frameworks (Vue/Nuxt or React/Next)
- Deep, hands-on expertise with TypeScript and JavaScript in production environments
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, high-performance systems
- Strong experience with MongoDB and AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway)
- Skilled in DevOps and CI/CD practices, including pipeline creation, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency with testing tools (Jest, Cypress) and quality assurance practices
- Highly collaborative and product-minded approach to engineering
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
