The company pairs patients with expert advocates and provides tools to help them navigate complex healthcare decisions and achieve better outcomes.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own complete product workflows from design requirements through deployment. You'll work autonomously on high-impact features, writing production-ready code across the full stack while maintaining a focus on delightful user experience. You'll commit code daily, see your work deployed to live users regularly, and take responsibility for every detail of your work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing product requirements and producing high-quality, production-ready code
- Building and maintaining user-facing features from database models to UI components
- Taking full ownership of work with accountability across all stages
- Collaborating with engineers, product, and design teams to drive product direction
- Creating services and APIs for web applications
- Maintaining system health, refactoring code, and ensuring robustness and resilience
- Writing clear specs for stress-free deployment
- Driving large releases to production on a continuous deployment cadence
The team is lean, mission-driven, and intense. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and be expected to move aggressively while identifying problems and architecting high-quality solutions. The role suits engineers who thrive on ownership, enjoy ambiguous problems, communicate exceptionally well, and absorb feedback readily.
Tech stack: Typescript (across all applications), NestJS API with TypeORM, Postgres, Redis, React, custom UI library built on shadcn, Tailwind, and Heroku.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of relevant experience on both frontend and backend development
- Strong React fundamentals and background with Typescript/Node
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Intuitive understanding of creating delightful, consumer-oriented experiences
- Strong communication skills to influence product direction and collaborate effectively
- Extreme bias toward action and execution; comfort writing code daily and improving systems
- Must be based in the United States
