Farfetch is a leading global luxury fashion marketplace connecting customers in over 190 countries with items from more than 1,400 brands and boutiques worldwide. You will join the Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager. This role is central to Farfetch's financial operations, supporting the monthly close process and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and record journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by compiling and analyzing accounting information - Monitor sub-ledgers, verify transactions, and resolve discrepancies - Analyze trial balance variances and assess reasonability - Analyze consolidated group financial information, including Balance Sheet and P&L, and support financial statement disclosures - Support implementation of new IFRS standards - Supervise work performed by junior team members as needed - Introduce, organize, and implement new accounting policies and procedures for the group, collaborating with international teams to drive efficiency - Ensure controls are carried out, recorded, and functioning efficiently - Provide support to colleagues on specific accounting operations - Support external audit activities - Participate in meetings and ensure appropriate progress on deliverables Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or Auditing - Minimum 5 years of functional experience in accounting, auditing, or consolidation - Knowledge of IFRS standards - Previous experience in consolidation (from preparer or auditor perspective) - Strong drive for results with proactive problem-solving skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines - Proficiency in communicating information efficiently across departments - Outstanding writing skills and ability to organize presentations - Fluent in English (written and spoken) — mandatory - Excellent team player with ability to interact across departments - Considerable knowledge of spreadsheet software and basic computer systems; Microsoft AX and SAP BPC experience is a plus - Demonstrated ability to perform accurate numeric calculations - Dynamic with high sense of responsibility and autonomy
