Rubrik is seeking a Senior Field Consultant for its Professional Services Organisation (PSO) in EMEA. In this role, you will drive product adoption with enterprise customers by designing, configuring, and delivering Rubrik data protection solutions across customer data centers and hybrid-cloud environments.
You will lead complex professional services engagements, combining technical expertise with customer-facing skills to discover, plan, and execute project requirements. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing Rubrik Security Cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments; deploying and configuring cloud clusters with networking, security, and identity integrations; onboarding cloud and SaaS workloads; executing solution validation activities including backup/recovery testing and performance verification; delivering engagements both remotely and onsite; leading technical workshops and architecture reviews; acting as primary technical contact during implementations; producing implementation documentation and runbooks; and collaborating with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Support, and PMO teams.
You will contribute to delivery best practices, process improvements, and reusable service assets. The role requires 8+ years in customer-facing Professional Services, consulting, solution architecture, or solutions engineering within backup/data protection or adjacent domains. Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential, including networking, security, IAM, and storage services. You need solid experience in backup and data protection covering virtualization platforms, databases, file and object storage, and SaaS workloads. Experience implementing cloud-native backup, DR, and recovery solutions is required. Strong scripting and automation/orchestration knowledge, understanding of hybrid architectures and connectivity patterns, and proven track record leading implementation projects from design through handover are critical. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) are mandatory; additional EMEA languages are advantageous. You must be self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to travel up to 30% for customer engagements.
