The Solana Foundation, a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support two senior technology leaders: the VP of Engineering and the Chief Information Security Officer. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role positioned at the center of fast-moving, high-stakes functions within the organization's technology operations.
You will serve as the connective tissue keeping both leaders' operations running smoothly. Primary responsibilities include managing complex, fast-changing calendars across multiple time zones, triaging and prioritizing inbound communication across email, Slack, and other channels, and flagging urgent items while drafting responses as appropriate. You'll coordinate meetings across engineering, security, and cross-functional teams, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and following up to maintain momentum on key workstreams.
As a central coordination point, you'll organize communication across the many people, teams, and tools these organizations interact with, proactively tracking outstanding items and surfacing issues early. You'll plan and manage domestic and international travel itineraries, coordinate meeting logistics and offsites, and handle event coordination including team dinners and venue booking. You'll support preparation for leadership meetings, planning documents, and organizational updates while liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Confidentiality is non-negotiable: you'll regularly handle sensitive engineering and security information and must maintain strict discretion. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, unflappable when priorities shift, and confident coordinating across many channels and stakeholders simultaneously. You communicate in a clear, direct, no-fluff manner and take ownership—when something needs to get done or needs to be surfaced for decision-making, people can count on you to make it happen.
Required qualifications include 5+ years supporting senior executives in a dedicated EA capacity, demonstrated discretion and trustworthiness, exceptional organizational skills and reliability, proven ability to coordinate communication across multiple channels and tools, and a clear, direct communication style. Nice-to-haves include technical fluency with engineering/security concepts, experience planning small-scale events, and familiarity with modern productivity tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, and Zoom.
