LeoLabs is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead technical execution, integration, and operational performance of advanced radar systems supporting space domain awareness and national security missions. This role bridges contracts, engineering, and stakeholder management for a Series B aerospace company building a global radar network to track 25,000+ objects in low Earth orbit. You will own the full lifecycle of contract-to-engineering translation: deriving requirements and milestones from government and commercial contracts, collaborating with radar systems technical leaders to plan solutions, and ensuring engineering priorities align with company strategy. You'll manage requirements traceability through Altium, track deliverable status, and maintain milestone progress summaries for internal leadership. Project execution is core: you'll lead planning and scheduling for radar system development, integration, testing, and operational support. You'll assess level of effort, balance workload, develop realistic project schedules in Jira, surface schedule risks early, and drive prioritization decisions in consultation with go-to-market and technical leaders. You'll own person-hour budgeting across active and incoming contracts, providing data-driven input to hiring and staffing decisions. You'll serve as the primary liaison between the Radar Systems engineering team and internal stakeholders (contracts, product, go-to-market, government compliance). You'll provide status reporting on project health, schedule adherence, resource utilization, and risks, and support customer-facing meetings with materials and technical context. Required: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. 10+ years in radar systems, sensor systems, aerospace, defense, or related technical environments. Proven ability to manage technical execution across multiple engineering disciplines. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance. Preferred: Advanced degree in Engineering or Physics. Familiarity with radar or other sensor systems. Strong math skills. Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Space Force programs. Familiarity with space domain awareness.
