Prove is seeking a Staff Engineering Program Manager to serve as a strategic enabler for the engineering organization. This is a high-impact, non-passive role reporting to the Senior Vice President of Engineering.
You will bridge Product, Solutions, Operations, and Engineering, working directly with senior individual contributors (IC3+), architects, and engineering managers to translate strategic vision into seamless execution. Key responsibilities include:
• Streamlining intake and cross-functional delivery: Act as the primary engineering representative in early intake and triage meetings, ensuring customer requests and quick wins don't stall in product or solutions pipelines.
• Process architecture and ticket lifecycle: Own end-to-end routing of urgent requests, translating leadership decisions into actionable items that flow from high-level EPD planning boards to team-level Jira boards.
• Operational tracking: Follow through on dependencies with operations and product pods to ensure engineering teams have clear requirements. Track items to completion while empowering development teams.
• Driving strategic initiatives: Shepherd architectural transitions (e.g., monolith modernization), ensuring consistent product delivery across interfaces.
• Risk and audit management: Coordinate internal engineering audits, identify single points of failure, and proactively flag business risks to leadership.
• Visibility and dashboards: Partner with leadership to build and maintain engineering dashboards providing executive-level insights into product health and team velocity.
• Cross-functional alignment: Navigate 15+ product pods, reduce ownership friction, clarify boundaries, and ensure complex service rollouts have clear ownership across the organization.
Required qualifications: Strong technical literacy in software architecture (monolith vs. microservices, API versioning, data flows). Proven execution track record translating high-level vision into structured, trackable project plans. Proficiency with Jira and project management tools. Ability to confidently discuss technical requirements with senior engineers and architects.
