Form Energy is hiring a hands-on Senior Electronics Test Development Engineer to lead vendor-integrated testing and automated test fixture development for their iron-air battery manufacturing operations. This role reports to the System Electronics Development team and sits within the broader Systems organization, collaborating closely with Supply Chain and Quality teams on Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and End-of-Line (EOL) testing activities.
You will design, develop, deploy, and troubleshoot automated electronic manufacturing test systems for PCBA and system-level products. Key responsibilities include defining test strategies, test coverage, acceptance criteria, and validation methodologies for manufacturing test equipment; providing Design-for-Test (DFT) feedback to engineering teams to improve manufacturability and test coverage; and managing external vendors for test fixture development and equipment integration. You'll execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for manufacturing test equipment, develop robust and scalable manufacturing test processes, and support NPI builds, failure analysis, and manufacturing ramp activities. A significant focus will be driving continuous improvements in test architecture, automation, diagnostics, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
