Scopely is seeking a Senior Director of Publishing Production to lead publishing operations for an unannounced mobile game title. Reporting to the VP of Production, you will serve as the operational bridge between Development, Publishing, Marketing, and Live Operations teams, translating strategic priorities into coordinated execution across all functions. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end publishing initiatives such as soft launches, global launches, integrated marketing campaigns, licensed IP activations, and major player-facing moments. You will establish clear ownership, planning frameworks, and decision-making rhythms that enable rapid, confident execution. The role requires building trusted partnerships across Product, Development, Marketing, Community, User Acquisition, CRM, and external partners while balancing immediate execution with long-term operational excellence. You will provide production visibility to senior leadership through clear communication, risk management, and health reporting. Additionally, you will lead and develop a growing Publishing Production function, establishing high standards for execution, collaboration, and accountability. Required qualifications include demonstrated experience leading Production or Publishing Production within mobile live-service games, with proven ability to deliver complex cross-functional publishing initiatives including product launches, marketing campaigns, and licensing partnerships. You need deep understanding of mobile game development and publishing operations, the ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans while remaining hands-on, and experience influencing peers and senior leaders across multiple organizations without direct authority. You should have a track record of establishing scalable production practices and governance processes, experience leading and developing producers, strong judgment balancing player experience with business objectives, and excellent communication skills across technical, creative, and business audiences. Bonus experience includes shipping successful mobile free-to-play games, working with licensed IPs and complex external partnerships, supporting games through soft launch and long-term live operations, and managing globally distributed development teams.
