Salary: USD 178,848 - 234,738 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Director of Network Contracting to lead provider network strategy and complex contract negotiations. This role is responsible for developing and managing healthcare provider network strategies, negotiating contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and ancillary service providers, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare organizations. The Senior Director will lead the market provider contracting team, collaborate with internal stakeholders (Market Leaders, Network Monitoring & Performance teams), and ensure network performance, cost containment, and high-quality care delivery align with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include: developing and implementing complex contracting strategies in partnership with market leaders; leading and mentoring the provider contracting team; identifying network gaps and expanding provider relationships; leading complex contract negotiations; developing standard and complex contracting agreements that drive financial performance and cost control; ensuring timely resolution of provider issues; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; serving as primary point of contact for contracting activities; and building strong working relationships with providers. The role requires 12+ years of healthcare provider contracting or network development experience, 7+ years negotiating complex contracts with healthcare entities, and 5+ years of leadership/managerial experience in healthcare. Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement models, and managed care principles is valued. The position reports to the Vice President of Network Management and is fully remote, open to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia, with potential for future hybrid arrangements.
