Twin Health is a digital health company using AI Digital Twin technology to help people prevent and manage chronic metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes and obesity. The company has raised over $300M to date, including a $53M Series E in 2025, and is scaling rapidly across the U.S. and globally with backing from leading venture firms including Sequoia, Sofina, and Temasek.
The Senior Director, Finance is a high-visibility, high-impact operational and external-facing finance leader reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This role owns the buildout of Twin's financial infrastructure to match the company's ambition and serves as the principal Finance leader on the path to future value inflection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the Finance function operationally: financial close process, controls, reporting rhythm, compliance, and audit readiness
- Lead external Finance: serve as the primary Finance representative alongside the CFO in investor relations, board reporting, and fundraising, maintaining institutional relationships and ensuring materials are accurate, clear, and on time
- Own the Finance-side workstreams for future liquidity events: serve as principal on all related preparation activities, directing the external-facing finance team on day-to-day execution while supporting banker, auditor, and investor relationships
- Manage Director-level direct reports across strategy, external-facing finance, and FP&A, setting clear direction, developing each leader, and holding the function to a high standard of output
- Partner with VP Finance and CFO on strategic financial decisions, capital markets positioning, and board-level communications
- Drive Finance team hiring, development, and performance management as the function scales toward future liquidity events
- Maintain financial systems, tooling, and vendor relationships across the Finance function
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive Finance experience, including demonstrated IPO or transaction experience as a principal. Must have personally led or been a primary driver of a public offering or major liquidity event, not solely in a supporting capacity
- Proven credibility with institutional investors, investment bankers, and board members. Comfortable representing a company at the highest level externally
- Strong people leadership. Has managed Director-level or equivalent reports and built high-performing Finance teams in high-growth environments
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, financial statement preparation, and audit processes
- Track record of building and scaling Finance functions in fast-paced, growth-stage technology or digital health companies
- Exceptional communicator: able to distill complex financial information into clear, structured narratives for board and investor audiences
- Healthcare or digital health industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
