The IT DevOps team designs, operates, and evolves the software engineering capabilities that power Ivalua's SaaS platform development and innovation. The team develops and scales critical CI/CD platforms enabling 200+ engineers to deliver products continuously and deploy thousands of customer environments globally. The team automates infrastructure operations, promotes SDLC best practices, and drives Ivalua's next-generation cloud architecture evolution toward Kubernetes.
In this Senior DevOps Software Engineer role, you will design, develop, and lead adoption of the CI/CD Factory as part of the evolution toward an AI-driven development model, integrating spec-driven and test-driven development practices supported by leading code LLMs (Claude Code).
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop platforms and automation tools supporting the global engineering organization
- Participate in target architecture design: containerized Kubernetes, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, secret management with Vault, in a Linux environment
- Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement (production-critical systems)
- Operate and maintain current environments (SVN, Microsoft, C#/.NET/SQL Server) while building the new target architecture
- Leverage AI to improve code practices within the DevOps department (agentic coding)
- Collaborate with delivery teams (Operations, Build & Run, Professional Services), infrastructure teams managing Cloud/Kubernetes/Linux/Windows environments, and central R&D teams developing Ivalua's flagship e-procurement platform

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps experience in SaaS environments with high-traffic enterprise web applications serving large accounts
- Expertise in containerization (Kubernetes) and large-scale deployment practices (high availability, scalability, distributed systems)
- CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Octopus, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent) and automation practices
- Ideally: background in software development (C#/.NET), strong database management skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and deep understanding of software architecture
- Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows administration; experience operating and supporting critical production systems with strong emphasis on reliability and troubleshooting
- Fluent English (written and oral) required for collaboration with international teams
- Strong plus: active interest in open source (GitHub contributions) and experience with AI-assisted software development, LLM usage for code, and emerging development practices
