As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure powering Island's enterprise browser product. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A significant portion of your work will involve a FedRAMP-compliant project, requiring expertise in secure, regulated cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain production infrastructure across multi-cloud systems and services
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, efficient releases
- Deploy and scale Island's product using AWS and Kubernetes
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to ensure product stability and security
- Collaborate with the team to identify and troubleshoot production issues
- Take ownership of infrastructure projects and drive them to completion

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a startup environment
- 5+ years of production experience with Kubernetes, including open-source ecosystem solutions
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience working with AWS
- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, C#, TypeScript, or Go
- Strong skills with monitoring and alerting tools
- Service-oriented attitude, team player, fast self-learner, and problem solver
