Cyberhaven is building AI-powered data protection technology to detect and respond to insider threats and data loss risks. This Senior Data Protection Analyst role is a ground-floor opportunity to build out the Professional Services and Managed Services functions.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on data protection and the Cyberhaven Data Detection and Response platform. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyze platform event data to improve detection policies and identify areas of data loss risk
- Partner with clients to develop incident response workflows aligned with their security objectives
- Perform forensic analysis on security incidents, including investigation of people, groups, and unauthorized data egress
- Refine datasets and policies as customers' data risk strategies evolve
- Identify trends and drive product requirements to enhance detection and response capabilities
- Eliminate false positives and noise from analytic results
- Prepare formal incident summaries and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams on innovative monitoring and prevention strategies
- Act as a subject matter expert on DLP market trends and insider threat best practices
You will report to the Head of Global Service within the Professional Services Organization and work with security and customer operations teams globally.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years' experience with a data protection product and endpoint protection best practices
- 2+ years' experience with Insider Threat Programs and Information Security
- 4+ years' experience providing expert guidance on data protection security issues and insider threat procedures (both accidental and malicious)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong customer empathy and focus
- Ability to create management-level presentations and incident analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a global team
DESIRED:
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR and adjacent security technologies
- Knowledge of security controls for sensitive data handling
- Experience with technical analysis and documentation/project management in incident response
- Understanding of macOS, Linux, and Windows environments
- Expertise with DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions
- Familiarity with cloud apps and services
