Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is an intelligent platform for travel and spend management, trusted by over 12,000 companies worldwide including Bolt, GoCardless, and Fabletics. The company automates travel bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related workflows to eliminate shadow work and boost productivity. As a Senior Data Product Partner, you will be the primary data consultant, strategist, and relationship manager for a specific business domain (e.g., Customer Care, Finance, Marketing, Revenue, Spend & Control, Travel). You will bridge the gap between business needs and complex data systems, ensuring data assets are trustworthy, discoverable, and solve real user problems. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Management & Strategy: Collaborate with business leaders to define data-driven strategies aligned with their goals. Proactively identify high-impact use cases and data initiatives that generate measurable value (revenue increase, cost reduction, efficiency gains). Act as the primary translator between business executives and data team roles. Manage expectations, define scope, and develop product sense for data by anticipating quality issues and strategically declining requests that compromise vision. Coach teams toward self-service capabilities. Demand Shaping & Portfolio Management: Define what to build and why (rather than how), ensuring the right solutions are developed. Shape and prioritize demand by translating vague business requests into well-defined, measurable projects with clear technical requirements. Oversee the data project pipeline for your business unit, ensuring alignment with capacity and strategic priorities. Conduct value realization tracking to monitor actual business outcomes and ROI from completed projects. Ad-Hoc Analysis & Triage: Serve as the first line of response for data questions from the business. Conduct initial ad-hoc analysis using SQL, Looker, and exploratory techniques to answer time-sensitive questions directly. Triage requests to determine quick-win vs. deeper analytical work, escalating well-defined requests to Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Data Governance teams. Identify recurring requests that signal gaps in dashboards, data products, or data quality. Consultation & Enablement: Provide expert advice on data availability, methodologies, and insight interpretation. Champion data tool adoption and drive data literacy within your business unit. Surface observations, trends, and risks as actionable insights. Bridge the data-to-action gap by ensuring insights translate into concrete business actions and process changes. The role requires fluency in moving between business and data worlds, making critical decisions rooted in both user needs and technical reality. You will move beyond simply providing solutions to proving demonstrable business impact. AI-enabled tools are embedded throughout daily work to accelerate research, prioritization, and synthesis. Perk operates on an IRL-first model with 3 days per week in-office collaboration. The company has 1,800+ employees across 12 global offices, with headquarters in London and Boston. Founded in 2015, Perk combines innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work. Requirements: The posting indicates openness to either Regular or Senior profiles for this Senior Data Product Partner role. Specific years of experience, technical certifications, or educational requirements are not explicitly stated in the provided description.
