As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the data product lifecycle—from business understanding and data analysis through product design, development, deployment, and delivery. You'll work closely with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to build high-quality data products that drive business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete data product lifecycle with strong product sense and business alignment
- Developing high-quality data programs using PySpark, with deep ownership of data mining and processing challenges
- Driving communication and coordination across teams to clarify goals and ensure products meet evolving business requirements
- Conducting code reviews, software design, architecture work, and pair programming
- Collaborating with product and data science teams to design and deliver impactful solutions
- Exploring and evaluating new technologies in the data ecosystem
- Thinking beyond coding to solve complex, multi-constraint problems efficiently
You will report to an Engineering Manager and work within a global engineering team of over 100 professionals across multiple time zones and regional offices (SF, LA, NY, London, Singapore, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Vancouver).

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Analysis
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with core technologies: Spark, Python, HDFS, Databricks, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Airflow
- Stellar engineering skills with solid grasp of modern software development lifecycle
- Ability to efficiently navigate complex multi-constraint decision-making
- Experience working in diverse, international environments
- Major in Math or Computer Science preferred
PLUS (desirable):
- Experience with Pandas, Sklearn, or other data science/analysis toolsets
- Background in data mining and machine learning with familiarity of common algorithms and libraries
- Experience in mobile app, advertising, or gaming ecosystems
- Experience with product design and infrastructure challenges
