You will join the Reporting team as a Senior Data Analyst, delivering insightful analysis to clients on their healthcare use and engagement with the Garner product. The team balances developing new scalable reports at higher volume with innovative custom analysis for specific client situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own client-facing analysis end-to-end: build, maintain, and produce key reports across the data ecosystem from scoping to delivery
- Partner with externally-facing relationship managers to address specific client questions via custom and automated analysis
- Deeply understand and improve the full suite of existing automated reports, identifying and implementing ways to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client impact
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to create maintainable automation for an evolving suite of client reporting
- Build strong domain expertise to independently drive meaningful insights
- Identify gaps between client needs and current reports, proactively developing new insights
- Advocate for best practices in visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication
- Run deep-dive investigations into complex business problems that inform strategic decision-making
- Use data analysis to communicate business solutions and make data accessible to non-technical stakeholders
The role is based in the New York City office (Financial District) with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Consulting, or similar data-centric role
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently and owning reporting projects end-to-end
- Attention to detail with a bias toward automation and scalability over one-off work
- Comfort with and excitement about building analytics, dashboards, and validating results using AI agents (AI nativity)
- Track record of using data analysis to communicate business solutions
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or comparable cloud warehouse) and SQL at scale; dbt experience strongly preferred
- Desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team operating with intense urgency and strong individual accountability
