Brigit is a fintech company focused on financial health and consumer credit products. You'll join the Data Analytics team as a Senior Data Analyst embedded in the Instant Cash Partnerships pod, working alongside Product, Engineering, and Partnerships teams.
In this role, you'll own analytics for Brigit's Experian partnership, which launched as an embedded cash advance product and has become one of the largest sources of new cash advance volume. Your day-to-day work includes analyzing repayment performance, evaluating underwriting and credit limit changes, modeling cohort LTV and unit economics, and analyzing the funnel from account creation through first advance. You'll also own the Experian analytics layer: dbt models, data definitions, reporting, and data quality monitoring that the pod, Finance, and Experian rely on.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own delinquency and non-payback reporting for the Experian portfolio: vintage curves, delinquency roll rates, gross and net loss, and recoveries
- Evaluate underwriting model and credit limit strategy changes end-to-end: size the population, model approval/loss tradeoffs before launch, and measure actual vs. modeled performance after
- Analyze the collections lifecycle (scheduled repayments, retry flows, charge-offs) and recommend improvements to repayment rates
- Build and refine alerting to detect anomalies, respond to incidents, and identify emerging risk trends
- Maintain and extend the partner-level LTV model, tracked to maturity by monthly cohort
- Be the analytical partner to the Experian Product Manager and Tech Lead, shaping roadmap with data and pressure-testing proposals
- Work with Partnerships on bi-directional data sharing and quarterly business reviews
- Partner with Finance on portfolio tracking, revenue coverage, and projections informing partnership commitments
You'll be the sole analyst in the room with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships, so ownership and comfort with shifting priorities are essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–6 years of experience in risk analytics, portfolio analytics, or product analytics at a consumer credit, earned wage access, or fintech lending company
- Advanced SQL: write complex queries from scratch and build/maintain data models in dbt or comparable framework
- Experience with product funnel analysis, A/B testing, and experiment readouts
- Sharp investigative instincts: form hypotheses from vague reports, find root causes, and size impact
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable being the single analyst embedded in a cross-functional pod with ownership expectations
NICE TO HAVE:
- Fluency in consumer credit performance concepts: vintage analysis, roll rates, gross vs. net loss, unit economics, underwriting and credit limit decisions
- Familiarity with LLM-based tooling for analytics work
