Salary: CAD 99,000 - 136,400 / annual
Okta's Data Enablement team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to unlock analytics across the company through data lifecycle ownership, data tooling enablement, and outreach programs. Reporting to the Manager of Data Enablement, you will serve as a critical data and technical partner empowering Sales, TAM, and Customer Success teams with deep product insights.
You will partner with peers and leaders across Sales, TAM, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Program Management to develop scalable measurement strategies for data assets, products, and services. Your core responsibilities include driving scalable semantic data models that support stakeholders both inside Auth0 and across the enterprise; educating data stakeholders on newly available objects and models; building reusable data models supporting key business concepts (Entitlement, Activation, Utilization, Engagement, etc.); delivering executive dashboards and product insights based on productionalized data models; partnering with other analysts to create composite measures spanning Auth0 and the enterprise; and ensuring data privacy and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
Auth0, part of Okta, is an authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers, handling over 100 million daily logins globally. The Data Enablement team creates scalable semantic models enabling safe, company-wide data access and understanding, partnering with product and engineering leaders on the full data lifecycle from strategy through implementation and self-service support.
You will spend your time understanding measurement needs from business partners, reviewing engineering plans to capture critical data signals from the Auth0 product, and developing data products that drive key success metrics.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, analytics engineering, or product management
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Streamlit, PowerBI, Sigma, Omni, etc.)
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management including instrumentation, governance, modeling, and self-service interfaces
- Experience working within Jira/Agile environments to manage and prioritize technical work
- Ability to build relationships with partners and stakeholders, distill business requirements into technical documentation, and prioritize work accordingly
- Excellent business acumen and emotional intelligence in ambiguous environments
- BA or higher preferred; additional relevant work experience in lieu of degree acceptable
Desired experience:
- Cloud-based data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.)
- Data engineering (Python, dbt, Kafka, Parquet, DuckDB, etc.)
- Version control systems (Git) and Pull Request process
- Advanced data skills/code such as Claude code or LLM-based data analysis tools
- Paywall, subscription, or authentication-based products
