The Custody & Principal Broking team forms the operational backbone of Raisin Bank's Digital Wealth Management division, managing complex securities trading infrastructure, clearing and settlement processes, and outsourcing oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and operational resilience. As Senior Custody Operations Manager, you will drive strategic process optimization across the custody operations function, ensuring workflows scale reliably to support high-volume retail growth. You will define and execute the control framework for daily securities processing, validate all outsourced clearing and settlement activities, and maintain strict adherence to German financial regulations (KWG, WpHG, MaRisk). Key responsibilities include: investigating and resolving complex securities discrepancies and trade breaks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; partnering with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams on regulatory matters; supporting due diligence and audits for outsourcing partners; and providing subject matter expertise for strategic initiatives including product launches, platform upgrades, and system migrations. You bring 7+ years of operations experience in custodian banks, clearing firms, or retail brokers in the German/European market. You have deep expertise in mass-affluent and high-volume retail accounts, fractional shares, and savings plans. You understand Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, T2S, and European post-trade infrastructure. You have proven experience establishing and executing internal controls within MaRisk and outsourced operations frameworks. Business fluency in German and English is required.
