Salary: USD 85,000 - 105,000 / annual

As Senior Clinical Quality and Safety Specialist, you will be the champion of Prenuvo's "Proactive Care Culture," viewing incidents and complaints as opportunities to identify system vulnerabilities and implement lasting improvements. You will balance clinical complaint management with proactive quality improvement initiatives, leveraging your clinical background to drive systemic safety enhancements. **Key Responsibilities:** Clinical Complaint Management & Patient Advocacy: Process and thoroughly investigate clinically related patient complaints, gathering context from patients, clinic staff, and providers. Coordinate closely with radiology, patient experience, and provider teams during investigations. Follow up directly with patients to provide clinical education regarding medical history, scan results, and whole-body MRI scope. Prepare and present complex cases for clinical quality review with evidence-based recommendations. Incident Review & Systems-Level Safety Analysis: Manage the internal incident reporting system and review safety reports. Lead or participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) to identify underlying systems issues and latent vulnerabilities. Translate incident findings into concrete, actionable interventions designed to mitigate future risks. Ensure all safety tracking and incident resolutions remain compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards. Quality Improvement & Safety Culture: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate targeted quality improvement projects. Monitor safety and quality data trends to proactively recommend preventative interventions. Serve as organizational advocate for a fair, transparent safety culture; conduct training for clinical and administrative staff to promote psychological safety and transparent incident reporting. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain meticulous, secure records of all quality activities, complaints, and incident investigations. Prepare monthly quality and safety reports for leadership, highlighting key trends, loop-closure metrics, and strategic opportunities. **Requirements:** - Current and valid multi-state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); willingness and ability to become licensed in additional states as needed - Minimum 5 years of experience in an active clinical setting (experience in MRI services, radiology, or oncology is a strong plus) - Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in a clinical quality, patient safety, or risk management role - Deep familiarity with and commitment to proactive care culture principles, systemic risk management, and human factors in healthcare safety - Exceptional analytical skills with proven track record of turning safety data into actionable clinical workflows - Comfort with navigating ambiguity, scaling processes, and designing new systems in a fast-growing health-tech environment - Outstanding remote communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills; proficient in video conferencing, Slack, Google Workspace, and email Note: This role does not provide visa sponsorship.
