Slide Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster – Large Loss to manage complex residential property claims from investigation through resolution. In this role, you will handle a caseload of large and/or complex claims, analyze coverage, evaluate exposure, and make timely claim decisions within your authority limits. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while setting clear expectations throughout the claims process, negotiate and settle claims in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practices, and partner with vendors, adjusters, and external stakeholders to drive effective claim outcomes. You'll also ensure accurate documentation, reserving, and compliance with applicable state regulations.
You bring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with 4+ years of residential property claims experience and 3+ years working directly for an insurance carrier. You have strong knowledge of coverage analysis, claims handling, and state insurance regulations. Experience handling complex claims, including litigation and third-party claims, is preferred, as is proficiency with Xactimate.
