Limehome, a tech-enabled hospitality operator with 10,000+ apartments across 150 European cities, seeks a Senior Category Manager to join the Supply Chain Management team. This role owns and develops assigned procurement categories end-to-end, with strategic alignment to company objectives and international growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Ownership & Strategy: Own and develop assigned categories (furniture and related procurement areas) end-to-end, aligned with company strategy and growth plans. Define and implement category strategies balancing cost, quality, scalability, and risk. Drive cost transparency, budgeting alignment, and structured savings initiatives. Identify and mitigate supply, dependency, contractual, and compliance risks.
Supplier Management & Commercial Excellence: Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, including sourcing, onboarding, performance management, and exit strategies. Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts, service levels, and terms. Conduct regular market and supplier analyses to identify optimization opportunities. Ensure high supplier performance in quality, delivery reliability, and compliance.
Cross-Functional & Operational Alignment: Ensure operational alignment with Design, Operations, Planning, and Finance teams. Support demand planning, forecasting, and order management processes. Standardize procurement processes and continuously improve systems and data quality. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years in a senior procurement role, ideally in furniture or hospitality sectors. Fluency in German language (required). Strong network and established relationships within the furniture industry. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills with focus on cost efficiency and quality. Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced environments.
