Salary: USD 111,000 - 147,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The AIRS division provides high-performance cooled infrared imaging solutions for system integrators and instrumentation manufacturers. As a Senior Buyer on the Supply Chain Team, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure on-time delivery of mission-critical components for cutting-edge defense technologies.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets; supporting engineering and manufacturing teams in identifying optimal suppliers; executing cost reduction initiatives; negotiating commercial terms with vendors; analyzing supplier performance data to optimize the approved supplier list; conducting market research and benchmarking to maintain a best-in-class supply base; placing purchase orders and resolving downstream issues with receiving, finance, and accounting; and owning the procurement process end-to-end.
You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment alongside small, dynamic teams. Success requires strong people and communication skills, the ability to identify opportunities and execute solutions, critical thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The role involves vendor site travel.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of supply chain management or material planning experience, ERP and PLM system expertise, technical procurement background, and strong written/verbal/presentation skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, space, or electronics manufacturing, and FAR/DFARS compliance knowledge.
