As a Senior Buyer on the Supply Chain Team, you will own the end-to-end procurement process for multiple product lines and commodity types. You'll manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure on-time delivery of critical components for cutting-edge defense technologies. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams, you'll drive cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing procurement cradle-to-grave for assigned product lines
- Leading cross-functional initiatives to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives
- Maintaining accurate procurement master data across Bills of Materials
- Supporting sourcing engineering and manufacturing teams in supplier selection
- Identifying and executing cost reduction projects through strategic procurement and commercial negotiation
- Onboarding new suppliers per quality standards and maintaining the Approved Supplier List
- Managing supplier performance and quality metrics
