Braze's Chief Business Office (CBO) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to drive financial rigor, operational consistency, and strategic alignment across the organization. This role reports to CBO leadership and owns critical business processes, financial frameworks, and strategic initiatives that support enterprise-scale operations.
Key responsibilities include: managing full program ownership of CBO budgets (including AI-specific costs and ROI), architecting Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Planning financial inputs, leading budget allocation recommendations and scenario modeling for leadership decision-making, and driving high-impact strategic initiatives using program management best practices. You will streamline core operational processes by evaluating and implementing AI tools and automated workflows, manage change initiatives and organizational agility, and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite executives.
You bring 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Program Management, Strategic Finance, Strategy Consulting, or corporate strategy roles in fast-paced, scaling environments. You demonstrate high autonomy and strong strategic partnership skills, with proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to organizational leadership and drive complex programs end-to-end with minimal guidance. You exhibit advanced financial and operational rigor, including deep financial acumen, expertise in annual planning processes, multi-million dollar budget management, and data-driven resource scenario modeling.
You possess mastery of strategic initiatives and large-scale cross-functional program management using industry-standard frameworks. You have strong executive presence and stakeholder influence, with exceptional communication skills and ability to synthesize complex operational narratives into clear insights for C-suite leadership. You bring forward-thinking tech strategy expertise and AI fluency, including practical experience evaluating and scaling AI tools and automated workflows. You model uncompromising accountability, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail, with superior organizational skills and proven ability to manage sensitive company and financial records with absolute confidentiality. You are energetic and adaptable, comfortable managing a fluid portfolio of projects across global teams in multiple time zones. Travel as required by business needs.
