Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply chain development and cost management for the Intelligence Systems & Space business line. This is an end-to-end ownership role responsible for engineering support, vendor onboarding and development, sourcing, pricing, and negotiation of the complete Bill of Material (BOM). Key responsibilities include: - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designed parts can be sourced and procured at target cost levels - Conduct supplier selection and onboard unique vendors to support Space & Intelligence programs - Drive on-time delivery by developing innovative solutions to overcome traditional space industry lead-time constraints - Partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost modeling, and joint design development - Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams - Manage total program costs including NPI and mass production phases - Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility - Complete BOM risk assessments and alternate component sourcing strategies - Ensure all component qualifications are completed ahead of production - Drive cost engineering activities and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization across product lifecycle - Manage ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation - Resolve supply issues to ensure on-time delivery at or below target cost Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; 8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices; domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO work; active U.S. Secret or TS clearance; ability to travel 10-40%; willingness to relocate to Costa Mesa. Preferred: Master's degree; experience in electronics/mechanical design, advanced sourcing, supplier development, early supplier engagement, high-mix low-volume environments, startup settings, space industry, or commercial subcontract management.
