Fiverr's Applied Science group builds the intelligence layer powering the marketplace. The team transforms large volumes of unstructured data into structured understanding to connect the right people with the right work opportunities.
In this role, you will design, build, and operate AI systems running continuously in production. You will own the full path from raw data ingestion through to production deployment: data pipelines and retrieval infrastructure, model development, quality assurance, evaluation frameworks, and cost optimization. The scope is end-to-end, spanning data engineering, ML systems, and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role. You will help define and establish how AI systems are architected and built at Fiverr, rather than executing against an inherited framework. You will work with a small, high-impact team that owns an unusually broad surface area across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing data pipelines that ingest and structure marketplace data at scale
- Building retrieval and feature infrastructure to support model inference
- Developing and evaluating machine learning models for production use
- Monitoring model quality, performance, and cost in live systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams who consume AI signals
- Contributing to technical strategy and best practices for the Applied Science platform
