Impulse Space is seeking a Senior Avionics Electrical Engineer to design and test custom circuit boards and avionics devices for space vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of spacecraft electronics development, including circuit board design, testing, debugging, and integration onto flight hardware.
You will collaborate closely with software engineers, propulsion engineers, guidance/navigation/control (GNC) engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure avionics systems meet mission requirements. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of space vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing custom circuit boards and avionics electronics for spacecraft
- Conducting testing and validation of avionics systems
- Debugging and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Integrating avionics hardware onto space vehicles
- Working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Contributing to all aspects of spacecraft electronics development from concept through flight qualification
