Payoneer, founded in 2005, is a global financial platform serving over 2,500 colleagues and customers in 190+ countries. The company recently acquired Skuad (August 2024) to strengthen its workforce management capabilities. This role supports Payoneer's global expansion by driving strategic procurement initiatives, managing vendor partnerships, and enabling operational services across multiple countries.
As Senior Associate – Global Expansion, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing global service providers, establishing scalable operational frameworks, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring efficient vendor governance. The role spans diverse service categories including Employer of Record (EOR), professional services, insurance, devices, background verification, co-working spaces, HR and payroll services, and other operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Procurement and Operational Enablement: Source and evaluate vendors across multiple service categories; establish scalable frameworks and governance structures; lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms; manage vendor relationships and performance.
- Global Vendor Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders across functions; manage multiple vendors simultaneously; ensure compliance and service quality; develop and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with finance, legal, HR, and business units to align procurement strategies; support expansion into new markets; provide operational insights to leadership.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly organized, and thrives in fast-paced global environments. Experience with employee benefits or insurance procurement is advantageous but not required. You will manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complex international requirements, and contribute to Payoneer's mission of removing friction from cross-border business.
