The Business Operations & Analytics team is a core strategic function comprising former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across every business unit. Each team member is embedded within a specific business area (Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships) and owns the analytical function end-to-end.
In this role, you will:
**Define the Right Problems**: Before any analysis, understand what business question it answers and what decision it informs. Push back if the question is flawed.
**Data and Insights**: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights that move your team's key metrics. You'll work with SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.
**Drive Outcomes**: Bring recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations. Tell them what's happening, why, and what next steps should be. This is not a pure strategy role—you own execution end-to-end, surfacing insights, driving decisions, and seeing them through.
The culture emphasizes no slides, no corporate fluff, and hands-on impact. You'll work with 14 insatiable learners who care deeply about solving difficult problems. There is no bloat, unnecessary meetings, or waiting for approvals.
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
- First principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before touching data
- Comfortable with SQL or Python
- Direct communicator who can walk skeptical stakeholders through complex findings and get buy-in quickly
- Owner mentality—if something is broken, you feel responsible for fixing it, even outside your swim lane
