REQUIREMENTS: - Typically 4+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics, including owning models that other teams relied on - Strong SQL and dimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, conformed keys, clear grain for every table) - dbt (or equivalent tool) in production with git, tests, and CI - Experience defining business metrics used for decision-making and resolving metric discrepancies - Ability to work directly with non-technical partners, turning vague questions into clear answers - Scrappy, ownership-oriented mindset; willing to jump in where help is needed - Must be excited to work in-person, 5 days a week, in the Chelsea, NYC office NICE TO HAVE: - First or early data hire at a startup - Experience modeling complex pricing, billing, subscription, or usage data - Made data usable by AI agents (documentation, semantic layer, guardrails) - Event analytics (PostHog or similar) and CRM data experience
