Qualtrics is seeking a Senior Consultant, Safety and Reliability to partner with health systems on transformational safety and high-reliability initiatives. In this role, you will guide healthcare organizations through culture change by applying High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles, strengthening safety culture, and deploying Communication and Resolution Programs (CRP). You will work closely with clinical teams and management to translate complex analytics into actionable process improvements that reduce clinical risks and protect both healthcare workers and patients. Key responsibilities include: - Advance Safety & Reliability Culture: Support client engagements focused on expanding HRO principles, improving safety culture metrics, and reducing clinical errors across care delivery settings. - Analyze & Interpret Complex Data: Construct data analyses—including payer metrics, authorization trends, denial rates, and behavioral assessments—to identify root causes and formulate actionable recommendations. - Deliver High-Quality Engagements: Execute engagement plans on time and within budget, preparing core deliverables such as data reviews, quality assessments, and executive presentations. - Train & Coach Frontline Teams: Deliver high-engagement training and coaching programs for patient-facing teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and sustained performance improvement. - Manage Workstream Relationships: Serve as a direct point of contact for project workstreams, building credibility with client teams, coordinating resources, and managing project risks. You will join a supportive team of ~20 professionals that merges deep healthcare safety and quality backgrounds with high-reliability expertise from aviation, military, and nuclear industries. The work directly transforms health system leadership culture, eliminates systemic human error, and protects patients in care delivery environments. The team leverages market-leading healthcare data assets alongside clinical domain expertise to deliver measurable, sustainable operational changes. Note: This role requires 50–75% travel (~10 days/month on-site across the US and select international locations). Requirements: - 10+ years of healthcare industry experience focused on safety and high reliability - Demonstrated experience participating in or driving performance improvement and safety initiatives within healthcare settings - Prior consulting or safety and reliability implementation experience strongly preferred - Practical experience coaching, training, or facilitating patient-facing teams - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and data querying/analytical tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Access) - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or clinical background (Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Safety/Quality/Risk Management) preferred
