Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Airspace Management Specialist to join the Test & Evaluation (T&E) Team. This role is critical to managing flight operations across Anduril's test ranges, supporting full system development testing, production acceptance testing, and sub-component qualification testing for advanced defense technology systems. You will be responsible for managing and deconflicting airspace for test site operations, integrating both manned and unmanned aircraft systems. Key responsibilities include developing airspace management strategies for complex test scenarios, coordinating in real-time with flight crews, test teams, and external agencies during operations, and ensuring strict adherence to FAA regulations and airspace standards. Your expertise will directly impact risk mitigation for flight operations, including identifying and assessing risks associated with airspace usage and incident response. You will oversee airspace scheduling and resource allocation at test ranges, maintain accurate documentation of airspace usage and safety procedures, and serve as a liaison with internal teams, government agencies, and external stakeholders for airspace approvals. Required qualifications include prior experience as an Air Traffic Controller, JTAC, or Combat Controller, with strong understanding of airspace management and FAA regulations. You must have experience with manned and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) certification or equivalent, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and military certifications in airspace management are preferred. Strong communication, real-time decision-making abilities, and familiarity with flight test range operations are essential.
