Salary: USD 131,000 - 170,000 / annual
OneStream is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Product and Engineering team, which bridges AI research and AI products to deliver tangible value to end users. This role is critical to executing AI development initiatives within the OneStream platform, an operating system for modern Finance.
You will oversee the entire lifecycle of AI and software subsystems—from requirements definition and system design through project planning and implementation. Your work will directly enhance AI capabilities and impact product performance and scalability across markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications and services using front-end and back-end technologies
- Design software subsystems and manage project execution to ensure timely delivery
- Build AI systems and functionality using Python and SQL
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from UI to database layer
- Lead technical design sessions to decompose and design complex systems, ensuring they meet technical and user requirements
- Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers
- Plan product releases at strategic and tactical implementation levels for the team
You will play a key leadership role collaborating with cross-functional teams including Solution Engineering, AI Delivery, and Cloud Engineering. Your expertise will drive innovation while mentoring other engineers and promoting a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar work experience
- 3–5 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience
- 3–5 years of Python (or similar language) experience
- Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts and practices
- Experience with full-stack development and system design
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members
