Intercom is seeking a Senior AI Deployment Consultant to lead large-scale, complex customer deployments of its AI Customer Agent platform, Fin. In this role, you will serve as the trusted advisor for enterprise customers, combining world-class project management with hands-on technical configuration of Intercom's platform.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end deployment programs for major customers, defining project scope and success criteria aligned with customer goals, and acting as the primary point of contact throughout implementation. You'll facilitate discovery sessions to understand complex requirements, translate them into actionable technical and project plans, and perform hands-on configuration of Intercom features including automation, workflows, and reporting.
You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to design tailored deployment strategies and deliver measurable outcomes. This includes coordinating technical readiness activities such as integrations, data migrations, and security reviews. You'll track key metrics including time-to-value, automation rates, and customer satisfaction, taking proactive steps to ensure successful outcomes.
Additionally, you'll collaborate with Product and R&D teams to surface customer feedback and help shape future innovations, while contributing to the evolution of deployment methodologies, templates, and best practices.
Required qualifications include 6+ years of experience in customer-facing implementation, deployment, or professional services roles, ideally within SaaS or AI technology companies. You need proven success managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, strong technical aptitude with comfort configuring software platforms and discussing integrations and APIs, and excellent project management skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach. Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities are essential, along with an analytical mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Experience with platforms like Intercom, Zendesk, or Salesforce is a plus.
