Valerie Health is an AI-powered front office platform for independent provider groups, automating patient/provider communication and healthcare operations at scale. The company is led by experienced health tech founders (Pete Shalek, 2x exits including $600M Optum acquisition; Nitin Joshi, scaled Uber Eats Health and Stripe Connect) and has raised $39M from top-tier investors including Redpoint Ventures and General Catalyst.
As a Senior Agent Operations Associate, you will own end-to-end problems at the intersection of applied AI and healthcare workflows. You will understand how customer operations work, translate requirements into reliable agent behavior, investigate performance using data, diagnose production issues, and determine where automation can safely replace manual work.
Key responsibilities include: leading document-agent implementation workstreams from design through launch and post-launch optimization; translating complex customer processes into automated workflows including intake, interpretation, routing, and human-in-the-loop paths; building reporting and diagnosing workflow performance to prioritize improvements; identifying bottlenecks requiring human review and developing improvements toward full automation; and codifying successful implementations into repeatable processes and operating mechanisms.
You will partner closely with Customer Strategy, Operations, and Engineering teams, and work directly with customers during workflow discovery, launches, and production troubleshooting. This is a high-ownership, high-learning role that will build deep intuition across AI systems, healthcare operations, and production workflows while helping define Agent Operations best practices as the company scales.
The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience from consulting, analytics, operations, technical implementation, product, or related roles. You should have independently owned complex projects from problem definition through measurable results, think systemically about how processes fit together, combine analytical rigor with practical execution, have strong technical instincts with experience in SQL/logs/APIs/agent configuration, and communicate clearly across customers, operators, and engineers.
